Training update:
Kevin Littlejohn updated us on Obsidian's plans for Zope and Plone training in Melbourne (Obsidian and Beehive are partners for Zope training in Australia). The Beehive web page now mentions Obsidian as its representative in Australia. See http://www.ozzope.org/Members/curphey/zopeplonetraining or http://www.obsidian.com.au/training/

The Impact Pair Programming on OO Code Reusability:
Scott Arbeitman, and Tariq Mahmood introduced themselves as Masters students, at The University of Melbourne. They have been working on research, together with Mike Ciavarella, on the impact of 'pair programming' on reusability in object-oriented code. Scott and Tariq explained their analysis of reusability in Zope 2 compared to Zope 3. This inspired speculation from Kevin and Richard about the impact of Zope 3's component architecture on code reusability. Scott and Tariq fielded questions, and were encouraged to come to the Sprint next month.

Contacts:
Scott Arbeitman sarbeitman@yahoo.com.au, Tariq Mahmood tmahmood@cs.mu.oz.au

The meeting adjourned at 8:50 pm approx, pending IRC to begin at 9pm (see irc15jan04).
