OzZope is having a table at the Software Freedom Day event at the Melbourne Town Hall on Saturday 16th September. Do you use Zope, Plone or Python because they are open source and have a global community or do you use them because they are free? We need community minded people to spend a couple of hours on the Zope, Plone, Python table for Software Freedom Day. A few people have said they are coming to help on the OzZope table, we need a few more. Apart from chatting to the public it will be a chance to catch up with other open source groups. The Linux Users of Victoria, Linux Australia, Open Source Victoria, LinuxChix, Open Source Developers Club, PHP, Melbourne Perl Mongers, Python, Melbourne Wireless, Community Media Services, and Computerbank Victoria are among the groups coming to celebrate Software Freedom Day.
