Plone and Zope Training- Update

This is an update on training courses Obsidian will be offering in the new year. There are a couple of changes from what we'd originally planned, to suit what people seem to be most interested in. Firstly, we're moving the course date back a bit - to the end of February. It turns out holding them at the end of January is probably a little too close to the start of the year for most people interested. So the new dates are 23rd Feb to 27th Feb.

Secondly, we've had some discussion regarding exactly which courses are most valuable to people. The Plone courses are the ones raising the most interest, and we're strongly considering therefore switching the "Developing Zope Products in Python" course over to another couple of days of Plone.

If people are particularly interested in the "Developing Zope Products in Python" course, can they please let me know ASAP, so we can organise something around that?

Below is the draft outline for the first two days of Plone tutorial - this is the "First Steps in Plone" course. There is a second two days to follow this, which cover more advanced plone topics. An outline for that will be available shortly.

Finally, we are now taking bookings for these courses. Phone (03) 9355 7844, or drop us an email at "contact@obsidian.com.au", to book and organise payment. Costs are $550/person/day inc GST for the courses (group bookings or five-day bookings will attract a discount, please contact me for details), payment can be made via credit card, cheque, or bank deposit, and we can send out invoices first if required.

A reminder, if you're looking for details on the courses (or want to point someone else at details , the website is at http://www.obsidian.com.au/training/

Thanks, KevinL
