Zope Training - Kevin Littlejohn
Obsidian are going to be running zope/plone/python training courses. They have formed a partnership with Beehive in Germany. Most likely the first couple of courses will run in conjunction with the Zope 3 Development Sprint in February. Someone from Beehive will be here for the first course.

Python Training - Jan Smith
Negotiations are still continuing with a lecturer at RMIT to run a short introduction to Python course for people new to programming.

Zope 3 Development Sprint - 4th - 8th February 2004
We have the promise of partial funding from one local business. Kevin Littlejohn has volunteered to follow through on another possibility for funding.
There was a call to make this sprint a conference - this was enthusiastically received by the meeting. It was thought a conference would help build zope's profile in Melbourne and is needed. However no one offered to do the organising.

Quicktime Movie of Jim Fulton's introduction to Zope 3
- Richard Volpato
Richard has made a Quicktime movie approx 2 and a bit hours of Jim Fulton's introduction to Zope 3 recorded at the Melbourne sprint in July. Kevin Littlejohn has voluntereed to place this on his hosted space. OzZope will place a link to this so people can download the movie. Jim Fulton has given permission for this.

Community Portals & Demand Aggregation - Warren Crosbie (notes by Warren Crosbie)
