Developing Zope-Products in Python

This 2-day training course focuses on how to develop Zope products in Python. Another main focus of the course is Python basics as well as creating Python-classes. One of the products the students will develop is an administration-interface to enable a normal user to manage users, groups, permissions via the so-called Third View. Furthermore, the new security model in Zope 2.4.0 or higher as well as creating an own user-folder are treated.

Other Courses

Obsidian also offers other ZOPE related courses depending upon demand.

Cost

The final cost of the courses is still to be determined, however we believe it will be somewhere around $500/day mark.

Location

The courses will be held at the Trinity College facilities, near Melbourne University. This is the same location the Zope sprints were held earlier this year.

Trinity College offers first-class seminar/lecture facilities, including the multimedia room - an innovative classroom designed to encourage learning with the aid of interactive touch-sensitive whiteboard, data projector, student PCs, and enabling software. Situated in park-like surroundings, Trinity provides the perfect environment for these courses.
